Coming in April - no fooling. Great writing, with a fine Midwestern accent, as I was reminded by New York publisher, George Wallace, at the AWP convention in Philadelphia last week. Put the Eastern and Western, Northern and Southern, and Midwestern, and a splash of border and international accents into a literary blender - mzzzzzzz - and you have the American Folk Opera.
