Vivid represented artist Julie Cowan is currently presenting work about Abraham Lincoln in her exhibit Dedicated to the Proposition at the Skokie Library in their Radmacher Gallery. Showing through August 31st, the exhibit reflects Julie’s fascination with the influence that ancient Greek mathematician Euclid, specifically Euclid’s Elements, had on Lincoln’s thinking and writing.

The piece here is an artistic reflection of the wanted poster for John Wilkes Booth after he assassinated Lincoln in 1865. Great work Julie!
