At Vivid we know that acquiring art should evolve from discovery, not shopping. That’s why we created this space, a warm welcoming storefront with lots of natural light and vintage wood floors—more like a living room than a traditional gallery. It’s a place where the works of many artists, not just a few, will be displayed at all times, so you can be delighted over and over again. A place where yo

u can hear the stories of the artists and their work. We provide an environment where art is a conversation—so whether you attend one of our educational events, or just stop in to see what’s new, we want you to leave knowing more than you did when you came in. Our Picture of the Week is Firmament, a beautiful 36 x 60 inch Dorothy Alig painting made with acrylic on paper, mounted on panel.

Inspired by photographs from the Webb telescope, which showed the vast number of galaxies and their incredible beauty, the painting is filled with vibrant colors and Dorothy’s trademark layered patterns.
