Last weekend, Winnetka Golf Club proudly helped host Play for Parkinson’s - a day of sport, community, and support for a great cause with longtime community member and advocate, Mike DeBartolo.

What a way to join in some community fun and kick-off the new school year! Wow! Thank you to Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District for being such a great partner and bringing the fun - along with our spirited community, who came with lots of smiles and enthusiasm. Not to mention, Steely Dad Band, who brought the tunes and good-times as we rounded out the night.

Celebrate the end of summer and kick off the new school year at our Back to School Bash, in partnership with the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District on Wednesday, August 26 from 4 - 6pm at Hubbard Woods Park.

The final weeks of beach season are here. Don't wait for one last swim, or one last beach day - now is the time to run to the beach for those last summer moments.

Know before you go:

🏖️ Maple Beach + Elder Lane Beach: Now closed for the season. There are no lifeguards on duty.
🏊 Tower Beach: Open for swimming with regular hours through September 7.
🚤 Lloyd Beach: Weekdays open for boating until September 13. Weekends only staffed until October 3.

We’re taking over Dwyer Park Saturday, August 22! From 10 am - 2:30pm, this favorite park will be transformed into a one of a kind Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, providing kids a fun, adrenaline pumping experience by our partner, Hot Shots Sports - Chicago.

You can also sign up for the family Nerf Battle, as a parent-child duo looking for a fun time, or anyone looking to storm our custom-built Fortress Battlefield.

🫶Say goodbye to summer ‘26 in style! Join us at Lloyd Beach next Wednesday, August 19, for a summer send-off with our End of Summer Luau + Concert brought to you by the Barefoot Hawaiians, followed by a concert by the GooRoos.

Here’s how the night will go:
🌊5 - 6:30pm: Pig Roast Dinner ($10 per person)
🌺6 – 7pm: FREE Luau
🎵7 – 8:30pm: FREE GooRoos Concert
