Auditions for FUNNY MONEY, WILL BE DEC 30th and JAN 2 at 7:00pm at the theatre. Come and enjoy being part of the WCT acting troupe! Julia Lambert is the Director.

Never has this master of farce been frenetically funnier! Henry A. Perkins, a mild mannered C.P.A, accidently picks up the wrong briefcase one full of money. Henry assumes it is illicit cash and he decides to keep it. Knowing that the former owner must have his briefcase, he rushes home to book one way fares to Barcelona. He tells his confused wife to leave everything behind; if she doesn't like Barcelona, they can go to Bali. In fact, they can buy Bali! The doorbell rings as they wait for their taxi. The police detective at the door thinks Henry was soliciting in the men's room of the local pub actually, he was sitting in the loo counting the cash. The bell rings again. Another detective arrives thinking Henry is dead; a man with bullet holes in his head and Henry's briefcase were found in the Thames. Henry's inept attempts to extricate himself from this impossible situation lead to increasingly hysterical situations.

Auditions for "The Almost Totally True Story of Hansel and Gretel" will be September 29th from 6-8, September 30th 6-8, October 1st 6-8, at the WCT Theatre in Meyer Hall at Baden Square. Nothing prepared is necessary. If you have any questions, contact Director Taylor Dory on facebook.

You can order Season Tickets or Single Show tickets. You will then be given a Voucher Ticket in which you can use to get into the show. (You print it yourself) If that is not an option for you, I will have vouchers you may purchase at Daylight Donuts 910 Main, Winfield. There are no assigned seats, first come seating only. If you have a group of 8 or more, please contact Melody at 620-221-1700 and we will try to rope off an area for you for the night you are coming. We are trying this new method for tickets this year. Thanks!!
