We had such a fun day at a hidden gem in Aliceville, the Aliceville Museum. Aliceville was one of 26 places in Alabama that had POW Camps during WWII. The museum houses memorabilia from the POW encampment, including hand made items the POWS made, gifts that were given to the guards, paintings, and even a portion of Hilters personal silver silverware and tea set. We then went to the Tom Bevil Welcome Center Lock and Dam. To visit the beautiful replica antebellum home. Our last stop was in Carrrolton to find the face in the courthouse window and YES we did see it. Before we left we watch a YouTube video of the renowned Kathryn Tucker Windham tell the store of the face the in court house window. It was an extremely interesting experience and we all highly recommend going to experience the fun offered in these places.
