Let’s talk about convention scholarships!
Competitive dance is SO MUCH MORE than sparkly costumes and pretty hairdos! As dancers become more invested, so many opportunities open up for them:
🪩 Dancers of all ages are able to earn scholarships to help offset their convention class fees and further their dance education.
🪩 Older dancers have the opportunity to earn full and partial scholarships for performing arts colleges like AMDA, trade schools like TAPS, and so many more.
🪩 They can earn scholarships to summer intensives to further their training and learn from new teachers.
🪩 Dancers get the opportunity to audition to be signed with an agent.
🪩 Simply by attending, connections are made that pave the way should they choose to pursue a professional dance career.
