Tonight we honor the hard work, grit, and PRs of every single athlete at Capital CityTrack Club annual banquet. From State and Regional Champions to record breaking times, injury combacks, and incredible growth in their athletic abilities. Watching the nervousness of athletes that has never ran track to see their confidence grow by the end of the season.

Beyond the medals and accomplishments, I'm most proud of the confidence, relationships, growth, and memories we created along the way.

As a coach, I'm reminded why I fell in love with track and field and the support I strive to give our athletes.

Watching these athletes find their confidence and let their light shine means everything. As a track mom, we are grateful for to all our coaches and especially our head coach Alex for her dedication to our kids and molding them into great athletes.

As a mompreneur, sometime my kids are with me during an install. Lol. While setting up this stunning Sweet 16, my son looked around and asked me why the birthday girl needed all this royal treatment. It was the perfect teaching moment!

I told him: when you turn 16, you deserve to feel like royalty. For a Sweet 16, the crown symbolizes moving into adulthood, and that magical shoe change? It’s the moment her dad swaps her favorite sneakers for her very first pair of high heels. 👟➡️👠 Talk about a tear-jerk moment!
