Turn sound up to hear “the rubber band frogs”. I looked them up and found this: In Maine, the frog that sounds exactly like a rubber band or an out-of-tune banjo being plucked are Green Frogs (Lithobates Clamitans).

I dropped off 40 small, affordable, clay, sculptures at Southwest Harbor Artisans shop in the charming town of Southwest Harbor on Mt. Desert Island yesterday. All my work is in a charming nook at the back of the shop, coexisting with a fine potter’s creations.

My first hike, post surgery, was super beautiful. Flying Mt. Trail in Acadia National Park. This was an easier one. Rooted and Rocky up and down the little Mountain to a secluded rocky beach, then a carriage trail flat walk back. This took me just 1.5 hours. I came here to drop off affordable sculpture to Southwest Harbor Artisans shop.
