While at my artist residency Hewnoaks, I worked about 5 hours per day on sculpture or drawing. Then I explored nearby trails including several nearby Greater Lovell Land Trust trails. They have a great map of their properties. I plan to do more of them in the future.

My last summer sale was yesterday at Ocean Park. Here are pics of a few pieces that sold. I had a great summer season. People enjoy meeting the maker. Although I am exhausted at the end of each sale day, it is a fun job. Thank you to my husband Julio who packs the truck, drops me off and helps set up tent and furniture. Then he returns and helps me breakdown and then unpack at home.

I have been able to attend several residencies over my career. At each one I find inspiration from the surrounding nature. This time Hewnoaks I thought I would draw acorns, but the blackberries were plentiful, surrounding my abode. I drew them, trying different media and styles. I also munched plenty.
