Blackdome Music Festival

Blackdome Music Festival Windham, NY We considered various names, and decided to name the festival after one of Windham's nearby peaks. And so, the Blackdome Festival was created.

It all started with a simple idea over breakfast at a local Windham coffee shop... Why not create a festival that celebrates music and culture in a way that is accessible, fun, and brings people together. The Blackdome Festival opened with its first season in June 2017. The festival explores various genres of music, and the contrasts, influences and relationships between them. Whether hearing a n

This Friday Emily Beck Music performs at Windham Fine Arts Gallery. Emily is a Hudson Valley-based singer-songwriter performing urban folk music. She released her debut album in 2020. Our final summer concert takes place this weekend with singer-songwriter Angelina Valente. Valente performs on ukulele and piano, and her musical influences range from folk, bluegrass, indie and rock. She has released two EPs and four singles, and is the 2023 champion of Nippertown’s March Madness, a local voting-based competition in Upstate New York. Carolyn Shapiro is an award-winning old-time banjo player and songwriter from the Adirondacks who was trained in the clawhammer style of banjo. Winner of the 2022 Folk Artist of the Year at the Capitol Region Music Awards, Carolyn’s sound is rooted in the old-songs of Appalachia. Coming up this weekend, The Four26 make their first visit to Eastwind in Windham. Blending songs and genres from contemporary and classic pop, to rock, R&B and alternative, they bring a magnetic style and honest approach to their live performances. In addition to keeping a busy performance schedule, they are currently recording their first album. Often playing with a full band, this weekend they will be performing as a duo. Belle-Skinner is a versatile artist who will be performing original music and also songs in French and Russian.
