It seems fitting that the sky tonight looked incredible! At 7:15pm my grandfather went to be with God and the love of his life! If you knew my grandfather you have probably heard many a good joke and received the ever famous Armand medal! He was a pillar of strength and heroism to all who met him! To me he was the man who introduced me to the love and family the fire service represents, how to night crawl after a fresh mow! That squirrels really can be trained and hand fed! He taught me that it’s really fun to leave to door wide open just to hear him say “shut the door “ ! He took us camping and always tolerated us playing while he tried to sleep after a shift with a few grumbles! There was never a lack of gumdrops and he was always happy to let me comb his hair or take care of his black heads lol! The many phone calls on your birthday when he would say Merry Christmas, when you repeated what he said he would reply made you say it twice! The memories will last forever and I am so thankful I can say I am Armand Beaule’s grand daughter! It is a title I will carry with me proudly forever! I am so happy the boys all were able to be by your side! I am sure memere was there to greet you with open arms! We will miss you, we love you! Rest easy pepere we will take it from here!❤️
