New Substack post! I wrote this one a while back and it is from the archives, but it is a good reminder, especially for myself in these days. It can be amazing how difficult it is to set down to write, but I have some great drafts I am working on about stuff more present and pertinent. Coming soon!

It is so easy for the tides of life to pull me away from my writing and posting, but one of the quirks of being a busking artist is that in between my requests, I can get my own work done - this has happened a lot recently. Swipe to see some streetside edits of a poem for my in-draft collection about becoming a father. Featured is a tuxedo cat who bid me farewell after my evening busking on the bricks.
