Our Story
SCIL first opened its doors on the walking mall of Old Town in Wi******er. There we began conversing with historians and educators, discussing what they want from virtual technology in the field of education. It was from these humble beginnings that SCIL filmed their touchstone project, An Atmosphere of Hate, a recreation of a Civil Rights era sit-in protest, in 2017 which is still being shown to students and educators today. Today, we are located in the Health and Life Sciences Building of Shenandoah University. Our focus is using immersive technology to make supplemental education materials for institutions in the community.
