I’ve been working on this mini watercolor painting collection all Summer and I’m so happy to say that My work will be showcased all October long at the East Lake Community Library in Palm Harbor, Florida 📚

There will be a reception on Thursday, October 8th with food, drinks, activities, conservation messages, available art prints for me to hand sign in front of you, and of course, the mini paintings! I’ll also be raffling off a massive bundle of my stickers.

Sometimes, I feel like I’ve live so many different life eras. It keeps things exciting I suppose!

I think I’ve mentioned quite a few of these before, but it’s kind of cool to see everything squished into one post! Also, a lot of people are surprised about my camping habits (or lack thereof). I’m determined to make a change as soon as the sweltering Florida heat lets up.

Also, yes, I do have a lot of my old dinosaur drawings from elementary school 👀

I’ve had this audio clip saved for months, but I’ve felt uneasy about using it in one of my reels. My goal with my artwork has always been to share stories of conservation while also recalling the massive amount of hope that still persists. These days, it feels like a relentless stream of negative news updates about direct attacks on our planet, its ecosystems, its wildlife and the people that strive to protect these precious things. This audio clip reflects that so well. It’s SO EASY to let the weight of it all sink into our minds and convince us that we’re helpless. I’m guilty of it. Hell, I’ve cried in therapy nearly every session for months about how heavy the world feels. And nothing makes the elites happier than seeing hopelessness and inaction.

But I’m finally using this audio clip to say this one deeply important message: OUR COLLECTIVE ACTIONS DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Every native plant we plant in our gardens, every time we decide not to spray herbicides and pesticides, every time we choose to shop local and eco-friendly businesses instead of supporting corporations, every time we pick up garbage on our walks outside, every turtle we help cross the street, every ingredient in our meal we grew at home, every tote bag used to carry our groceries instead of plastic bags, every thrift store we shop from, every eco-focused community event we attend, and of course every time we learn about and even make connections with our state and county-level commissioners.

Plus, don’t even get me started on all of the INCREDIBLE non-profit organizations and local groups that do such incredible, boots on the ground work all across the state. These organizations hardly get any media coverage, but the work they do is blossoming with HOPE.

I can’t wait to begin my next big project I’m calling “Florida Restored”. This with will feature all of the amazing work that organizations you may not have even heard of are doing. Hope is here and I’m so excited to show you (and myself) that we will never give in to despair!

Back in February, a group of wonderful women came into my booth at the Gulfport Fine Art Show and encouraged me to not only become a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, but to also submit some of my paintings for consideration for their annual exhibition. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my work would be accepted into their exhibition on my first try applying 😭🥹 If you are one of those women, please send me a message because I owe you the BIGGEST thank you!

My painting, Deceptive Drift, will be a part of the Florida Watercolor Society 55th Annual Exhibition from September 1st through October 9th, 2026 at the Herrig Center for the Arts in Bradenton, Florida.

Still tearing up when I think about what an honor this is 🥹

The “mini” collection just keeps growing!

I’ve been keeping this amazing news to myself for what feels like an eternity! (Not even 2 weeks 😂)

My painting, “Our Rights”, has been selected to be the artwork representing the 2026 happening November 7th & 8th!! 🎉 My artwork will be featured on this year’s posters, t-shirts, and a variety of other educational items to aid the in their mission to promote Right Whale conservation 🐋

To say I’m excited and thrilled about this opportunity is a total understatement! I want to thank everyone on the Right Whale Festival committee for not only their recognition, but also their support 🥹 I’m so honored to be a part of their conservation mission and I hope I get to see you at the festival!

Im so beyond thankful to have received an Award of Merit in 2D Art from this weekend! Thank you to the wonderful show coordinators, the kind volunteers, the amazing judges, and all of the incredible people and fellow artists I got to meet in Melbourne! This is my first time winning an award at a fine art show and I’m truly truly truly grateful 💛

My next fine art show isn’t until July in Saint Pete at the PAVA Cool Art Show! Don’t worry, it’s indoors 🎉
