I’ve been keeping this amazing news to myself for what feels like an eternity! (Not even 2 weeks 😂)

My painting, “Our Rights”, has been selected to be the artwork representing the 2026 happening November 7th & 8th!! 🎉 My artwork will be featured on this year’s posters, t-shirts, and a variety of other educational items to aid the in their mission to promote Right Whale conservation 🐋

To say I’m excited and thrilled about this opportunity is a total understatement! I want to thank everyone on the Right Whale Festival committee for not only their recognition, but also their support 🥹 I’m so honored to be a part of their conservation mission and I hope I get to see you at the festival!

Im so beyond thankful to have received an Award of Merit in 2D Art from this weekend! Thank you to the wonderful show coordinators, the kind volunteers, the amazing judges, and all of the incredible people and fellow artists I got to meet in Melbourne! This is my first time winning an award at a fine art show and I’m truly truly truly grateful 💛

My next fine art show isn’t until July in Saint Pete at the PAVA Cool Art Show! Don’t worry, it’s indoors 🎉

Today we celebrate the incredible legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall. With patience, deep listening, openness and tenacity, Jane’s work transformed how the world understood animals, and reshaped how millions of people see our place in the natural world. She was (and still is) a constant reminder that even small, consistent actions can create lasting impact in protecting our planet 💚

Jane would have turned 92 today which is now officially deemed Jane Goodall Day. To celebrate her today, and I are hosting a Giveaway!

As we were putting this giveaway together, Rachael and I really reflected on just how profoundly our lives have been shaped by Jane Goodall. Not only did she inspire our drive to get outdoors and our curiosity with the natural world, but she’s also a huge part of why we use our art to advocate for wildlife conservation. Her belief in “speaking for the voiceless” is something we carry into everything we create. She remains a constant guiding light for us…a reminder of the kind of impact we hope to make and we try our best to honor that in all we do.

I’m so honored to be donating a first edition giclée print of “Life Force” to ‘s Sunshine State Soirée to be auctioned off for conservation funding! The theme of this event is Florida at night, and I immediately thought of the dusky yet magical feeling this mama alligator and her hatchling envoke while sharing a fleeting moment with these pixie dust spreading zebra longwing butterflies 💛 Thank you, Conservation Florida, for all of your incredible contributions to protecting and preserving wild Florida!

Lessons learned 🥲

This cold snap in Florida has me feeling ready to break out the hot chocolate, the wool socks and maybe even some holiday decorations 😬 Do you wait for a certain time of year to decorate for the holidays or is your motivation weather dependent like mine??

If you’re looking for a new ornament to commemorate your year or find the cutest gift for someone, I decided to create some brand new (and some OG) wooden ornaments! I didn’t have any last year, mostly because I forgot to order them in time 😅 but I’m so happy to have these available for you this year! If you want to see them in person, I have plenty at Honeymoon Island State Park’s Nature Center!

Holy cow what a weekend! The weather was a bit sketchy on Sunday, but that didn’t stop Destin from showing up and supporting the Festival of the Arts 💛 Thank you to everyone involved in putting together such a fantastic art show. I’m truly grateful to be among a community of passionate, super skilled and kind artists, especially when it’s just me, myself and I attending 🥹 I’m also so grateful to have met SO many incredible people!

I happened to find a photo of my booth at this show last year and WOW what a difference! Better walls, better tent, heavier weights (that wind gets savage sometimes), cohesive frames, rug, the list goes on :) But I’m trying a completely new set up at my next art show this weekend at Art Harvest in Dunedin (Highlander Park)! I hope you get a chance to come by and let me know what you think!

New wooden ornaments have arrived! 🐦‍⬛🐝🦦🐊🐢🐙

7 new designs and 4 returning favorites! (you’ll have to check the online shop to see which ones got brought back)

Because of material expenses this year, I only had TEN of each design made!!

Each of them are made of sustainably-sourced maple wood 💚 and signed/dates on the back

For me, all of my Christmas ornaments are super sentimental. It means so much to me that a little piece of Wild Planet Creations can be incorporated into someone’s personal holiday celebrations 🥹

As always, 10% of all profits are donated to wildlife conservation organizations & charities. Let’s make this year the best donation year yet 💛

I’m so proud of what this collection is growing into. The first set of prints were so loved, and now this new collection is finally here!

My goal with my artwork is to bring together a community of positive, action-oriented people who care deeply about our natural Florida backyard and all of its wild inhabitants. My artwork is here to reflect our deepest values, and remind us all that there is a massive, like-minded community rallying alongside us striving to protect our wild planet 💛 Thank you for allowing the space for me to share my artwork.
