Good morning, August 🌞✨

I finished coloring her just before the turn of the new month. This Frida Catrina is inspired by an original artwork from a few years ago. I’m sure I’ll be creating more catrinas as cooler weather nears. For now I want to try and create witchy vibes, practical magic aesthetics, coffee scenes 🤗.. I’m excited for it seem like fall (since it’s piping hot outside) so I’ll imagine I’m in the little worlds I may create 🍂🍁☕️🪄

Last Day of

It’s been a beautiful ride🫶🏽✨

I have enjoyed this journey. I learned I love creating coloring portraits and that I actually enjoy working with alcohol markers (still a work in progress)🙂‍↕️🥰

Day 30 of

Working in my June/July handmade journal the rest of this week. June was whirlwind. And now July is right there too. I’ve had such a beautiful/lazy/but eventful/still/hot summer so far. I can proudly say I’ve embraced it all. Sometimes the days go by so fast that it’s easy for me to feel as though I just woke up and now it’s time for sleep. But the last two months (fast as they’ve been) have been filled with slowing down and taking it all in as it happens (good with the sad).

I’m grateful for these days (minus the crazy hot weather 😅🥵) I’ll m grateful for the art challenges too! They’ve brought so much inspiration, so many new people!! My feed on here has been Frida-magnified and I’m here for it🫶🏽🤌🏽!!

I’ll be sad to say goodbye to July. But I look forward to August as well ✨

So I’m obsessing over Book Of Magick - Mixed Media Art Journaling Patreon August collection🐅!!! I’ve been working on a fall magical vibe handmade journal since last week. And Book Of Magick - Mixed Media Art Journaling collection fits perfectly with the aesthetic I’m going for. I won’t really start working on it until I’m finished with my June/July handmade journal (which is almost completely full) But the Patreon collection got me excited so I had to create with it sooner than later 💃🏽🫶🏽✨🐅!!!
