I created this Kinusaiga artwork for my friend Lynn, inspired by a place close to her heart: her camp on Lake Galway and the beautiful shoreline of Turtle Bay. 💙🏞️🐢

📚✨ Thrilled to have completed this special commissioned book for a remarkable young woman who is launching her high school's very first book club!

It has been a true pleasure to create a keepsake that celebrates her passion for reading, leadership, and bringing fellow book lovers together. There's something inspiring about seeing a student take the initiative to build a community centered around books, ideas, and friendship.

Wishing her and the club many engaging discussions, great discoveries, and lasting memories in the years ahead. Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of this exciting new chapter! 💕📖

🐝 Exciting news... I've become a beekeeper!
If you'd like to see more honey bee content, let me know. I'd be happy to share updates from the hive.
And if you're local to Wilton, NY, and interested in purchasing raw, unfiltered wildflower honey, send me a message. I'd love to connect!

I haven't been posting lately, and I apologize for that! I've been keeping busy with several different projects.

I've created my own custom Kinusaiga design and pattern, and I'd love to share it with anyone who would like to give it a try!

The design is inspired by Kinusaiga, a beautiful Japanese art form that creates pictures with fabric without any sewing. It's often referred to as a "quilt without thread" or "silk painting."
It's been so much fun combining my love of creativity and pattern design. I'd love to hear what you think!

*hint - there is a clue to one of the other projects that I've gotten involved in this image.

This artwork inspired by Little Women beautifully captures the tender bond between a mother and daughter.
A touching tribute to love, guidance, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. 🤍📚
