Where: The Wilton Playshop 15 Lovers Lane, Wilton

What: Please come prepared to sing and dance. Plan to sing 16-32 bars of something in the same style of the show. Bring sheet music.

Who: All ages, dancers, gymnasts, stunters also encouraged to audition

Rehearsals: Rehearsals are generally Mondays–Thursdays in the evening (7-9pm) beginning August 31st

This Forgetful Friday we want to Remind you to get your tickets to NUNSENSE … it’s the perfect day to meet Sister Mary Amnesia was born in Downey, California and began taking accordion lessons at age seven. An excellent student, she skipped two grades and was valedictorian of her high school class. Inspired by the Doctor Demento radio program, she began writing parody songs and performing in clubs in Central California, Her first big hit was “My Bologna,” followed by “Another One Rides the Bus” and wait she just realized this is actually a bio for Weird Al Yankovic, because a crucifix fell on her head and she has no memory of her actual life.

She thanks Sister What’s Her Face and Mother Something and she really likes cheese.

Meet the sweetest Sister Mary Leo who is so excited to be making her debut with the Little Sisters of Hoboken in this production! This is her first year, joining the convent and she is currently a novice who dreams to be the first ever nun ballerina. Past ballet credits include the Nutcracker, The Red Shoes, Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake. She would like to thank her fellow sisters for always guiding her and helping her along the way. She always dedicates her dance to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Always remember to point your toes and stretch!!

MEET Sister Robert Anne is Straight outta Brooklyn (and yes, she will remind you. Sister Robert Anne is a nun with main-character energy and absolutely no intention of blending into the background. Known as the convent’s resident “problem child,” she traded street corners for center stageand has been stealing scenes ever since. She’s the only sister bold enough to talk back to Mother Superior... and then offer to fix her car. Quick with a comeback and always one step away from turning any moment into a performance, she’s got a habit (pun intended) of making herself the center of
attention—whether anyone asked for it or not. Equal parts holy and a little chaotic, Sister Robert Anne is ready to chase the spotlight at a moment’s notice. This Sister didn’t come to pray quietly—she came to slay loudly.

Thank you to the Mount St. Helen’s School community for your continued support through this tragic time. Please stick around after the show. This week is ALL ABOUT OUR NUNS!

Meet Reverend Mother Mary Regina - Mother Superior serves as both director and producer of this evening’s entertainment. She took a circuitous route to the sisterhood, beginning as a tightrope walker in her family’s act, “Two Tons on a Tightrope,” followed by a brief stint as a mime in Paris under Marcel Marceau (she never quite mastered the silent part). She later toured Eastern Europe with Clowns for Jesus (Clovni pentru Isus). She now is working on a line of NunBetter™ greeting cards which she hopes to bring to “Shark Tank,” enjoys “The Great British Bake Off,” and is currently managing Type 2 diabetes. She thanks you for your presence and reminds you that generosity is a virtue.
