My painting "Saints John the Evangelist & Mary Magdalene"
(acrylic on paper, 10” x 8”) is included in the group show WINTER SOLSTICE, at Blackfish Gallery, December 3 - 27.

This painting is part of a sub-series of mine, art historical re-interpretations, where I replicate the background and structure of an historic piece, but replace the human figures with birds — chosen specifically for their rich symbolic meaning and adding conceptual layers to the original works.
