OMG I finally finished writing this book. It’s been 2 or 3 years and to be honest I’m not sure why I wrote this but other than I got directed to do so by my spirit guides. I guess it was more important than the other book I started to write called s*x on the West Bank (s*x in the city meets hotdog).
Anyway, here’s what the back cover reads: Hidden AI is a novel set in the near future of the 203O’s and tackles timely and important themes such as overbearing governmental control, AI singularity, loss of freedom, climate collapse, and humanity’s resilience. The dual narrative structure following both the Parkland family’s survival journey in rural Idaho and Felix’s trajectory at Hidden AI in the city creates natural tension.
Sierra clearly has a passion for the subject matter and has constructed an elaborate world in her innovative, yet potentially realistic story telling. This novel combines the ways of the old ranch world as it comes head to head with the quickly emerging out of control world of technology, specifically artificial intelligence. This book is a must read for those wishing to glimpse into the very possible world of AI dominance.
