For the month of June, Hannahville Victim Services is honored to highlight Ms. Jessica “Jessyee” Blair for Indigenous Women in Education Month. We will post once a week, specifically with our interview with Jessyee.

It is very clear why her voice deserves to be lifted up. Her words reflect not only her role as an educator but also her heart for all students, the community, and the importance of culture in learning.

Ms. Blair reminds us that Indigenous women in education help create spaces where students are supported and connected to who they are. She reflects the strength, compassion, and responsibility that come with guiding young people, not only academically, but emotionally, culturally, and personally.
