Ahead of this weekend's winter storm, will operate on the following schedules:
Saturday, January 24:
-County libraries, parks, Airlie Gardens & the Arboretum will close at 2 pm to the public.
Sunday, January 25:
-County libraries will be open for regular business hours. Parks, Airlie Gardens & Arboretum will reopen at noon.

He was a legend and built such a legacy. Big loss for the skating community.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Jimmy Ellington. What he created in the little town of Hampstead is amazing, to say the least. It isn't often that you run across people like him these days, a man who changed 1000s of lives by giving them a place to feel welcome and call The Skate Barn their home. Demos, contests, skate jams, moonlight ragers, plus countless other great memories all because one dude had a dream 💔

The skatepark is closed today for maintenance on the snake run. The bowl will be closed with an estimated reopen date of late July.
