In September I made the difficult decision that I would retire from Powers & Thomas Midway Entertainment at the end of 2021. I've enjoyed working with the "kids" in building the route and being the liaison between the show with fair and event committees. I'll miss handling the public relations, media, conventions, Facebook, website development for the show as well as the many friends and acquaintances I have made along my journey. I'm so proud to have been part of the Powers and Thomas family in what they have accomplished in the past seven years. I wish my extended family all the success in the future with the acquisition of new rides, equipment and future growth. I haven't decided any future plans other than retirement, traveling and attempting not to get bored after 45 years in the entertainment business. Charlie Belknap

After leaving the Czech Republic October 18th our new Dragon Coaster arrived today at winter quarters.
Our 2021 season comes to a close tonight in Springfield, GA. It's been a year to reflect with all the Covid restrictions, labor issues but on a positive note... great crowds! Fortunately, it all ends on a positive note and we're back to winter quarters preparing for our 2022 season tomorrow.

Our new Dragon Coaster going through its final inspection at the factory in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿. Scheduled to depart the factory to be shipped to the United States Monday. Arriving in Brunswick, Ga in a few weeks.
Thank you so much to the Orangeburg and surrounding communities for attending this year's county fair and helping make it such a success! Mark your calendars for October 4-9, 2022 for next year's fair.
