So good to see so many out last Thursday night to discuss the continued influence of the Confederacy on our community. We are following up that discussion with a gathering at the George Davis statue this Saturday, June 29th from 3-4pm. Come exercise your democratic right to express yourself concerning the confederate statues in downtown Wilmington.

We'll meet at the Courthouse Complex Parking Lot on Market & 3rd St. Our plan is to gather on the four corners surrounding the Davis statue but not impede traffic. Signs are welcome but banners will be provided.

This is a peaceful protest, we do not want vandalism or violence associated with this effort, it only attracts the extremes from all sides. See you Saturday!
