When the owners of Blue Moon Gift Shops decided it was time to build yet another layer to a multifaceted shopping venue, Eclipse was launched in November of 2013. A vision of one of a kind, eclectic pieces and work produced from local and regional artisans helped create an artisan boutique. m their many talented artists. Collections include original paintings, custom furniture, sculpture, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography, and textiles including an exclusive line of American made luxury Alpaca bedding. Voted the Best Art Gallery 2014 by Encore Magazine readers and Best Art Gallery 2015 by Wilmington Magazine readers, the never ending array of artisans and goods keeps Eclipse a favorite in Wilmington.

Blue Moon and Eclipse partner up with Save A Vet Now every September to raise awareness for veteran su***de prevention. 🎗️

At least 20 veterans take their life every day...

Local artist and veteran, Vivaldi started a non-profit program to raise awareness of this silent epidemic in our community. It is operated by unpaid volunteers through Coastal Horizons.

This year I’ve found myself drawn more and more toward creating larger, emotive landscapes. Big skies, moving water, dramatic light, and paintings that feel less like a specific place and more like somewhere you can escape into.

I think I’ve realized that’s where I have the most fun: letting the paint get loose, following the light, and seeing where the piece takes me.

My newest, Where the Night Breaks, is a 24 x 48 palette-knife oil inspired by one of my favorite sights, moonlight over the ocean. It’s headed to Eclipse Artisan Boutique in Wilmington today!

I’m excited to keep exploring where these larger escapes take me, and I’m so grateful you’re here to follow along. 🩷🤗
