Oak Island light house is really, really, really tall.
“Let’s climb the light house,” we said. “Sounds like fun!” we said. “It’s only 131 steps,” we said. Ha! This goes down as one of the most terrifying and thrilling and exciting and surprisingly dangerous things I’ve done in a long time. I’m surprised they don’t give you climbing gear and a tether. Glad we did it, but boy oh boy I’m happy to be back down at sea level.
