Come on out tomorrow for a meet and greet with Rick and Lou. They are great people sailing the world just happened to spend a little more time in Wilmington. They will be guest bar tending and telling their story. We will have auctions and open mic night. See you then.

Salacia Star are going to be the guest bar tenders.
During the night we will be auctioning off a 2-hour wine & cheese cruise onboard Salacia Star for two people for this Saturday 23rd October 2021.
There will also be 2 other auctions one for a Salacia Star T-shirt & the other is for a very well-travelled Australian Flag that we flew through Greece, Albania, Montenegro to Turkey.

I am sorry but the Cape Fear Highland Games are cancelled this year due to lack of sponsors and health issues. We can try again for the spring of the interest is still there. If anyone knows anybody who might like to sponsor maybe in PPD, New Hanover regional or some other corporate businesses please let us know.

Well we might be in luck. Humphrey Farms has reached out to help we still will need a few sponsors. I will go look at the space in the next couple of days. I will keep you posted. They have a lot of the infrastructure already in place.

I am real sorry to have to do this but we have to cancel the Cape Fear Highland Games this year due to lack of sponsors. We usually have around eight sponsors to offset the cost of putting on the games, insurance, rentals ect. The whole event cost thousands to put on and it's an expense I can't personally afford to do. I recently had bypass surgery that set me back a bit so it has been hard finding new sponsors. It's a shame because it is a great family event for the Wilmington area. My apologies to M.A.R.S.O.C and all the CFHG fans. Maybe we can try again in March with some more sponsors or a go fund me.If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I hope everyone faired well during the storm. The CFHG are just 12 days away. I am putting this out there to the public to see if we should go on as scheduled or postpone the games for a later date. I know the community is dealing with getting their life’s back to normal so I wanted to ask the CFHG community what they thought. We are lacking some sponsors this year so if we do proceed we would need some preticket sales. This event is for the MARSOC Foundation but we could also add hurricane relief to it. What are your thoughts?
