🎶 Wilmingtones Guest Clinician from OSU 🎶

Wilmingtones welcomed guest clinician and voice faculty member Dr. Helen Allen from OSU today. Dr. Allen coached the students on various vocal techniques. She also gave them feedback and strategies for improving the pieces they are preparing for the OMEA Large Group Choir Contest this Friday, March 6 at 4:30pm at Kettering-Fairmont HS.

Congratulations to Mia Hollingsworth for being accepted into the 2025 National FFA Chorus as a Soprano. Mia participated in an intense application and audition process this summer, and will spend a week at the National FFA Convention this Fall performing with other members from across the country! This is the second year in a row Mia has been accepted to this honor!🤩🤩

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Erin Hales as the WMS & WHS Choir Director. Mrs. Hales has spent the past 21 years as the Choir Director in the Clinton-Massie School District. During her time at C-M she has led the High School Choir program to great success including a recent performance at the Ohio Music Education Association State Large Group Adjudicator Event. Mrs Hales stated "I am excited to join Wilmington City Schools as the new Choir Director! I can't wait to get to know the students and families in the community and start making music together."
