Week 1 of Masterpiece Makers Art Camp: campers each got a ukulele to paint however they liked, they melted record albums to turn into (working) melting clocks à la Dali, they used old records to design album covers, artists made wind-up toys with air dry clay, they needlefelted anything of their choice, spray painted with watercolor to make “musical city maps” and made oil pastel cubist guitars. 🎨

Both camp weeks are a wrap! Here are some pics from food week: we made TP sculptures, did paper-making to create “slices of cake”, designed and watercolored food trucks, painted and collaged Acrimbaldo style food portraits, watercolored and bubble painted soda designs, and made mixed media Japanese noodles !
