They've started carrying Salesianum School Theater in our school store AND they're purchaseable online.

A couple of notes:
- Buying the shirts DOES increase visibility and encourage the store to continue stocking them alongside all the higher profile programs (sports).
- Buying the shirts does NOT financially support the program.
- The shirts themselves are nice!

RIP to the writer of the Salesianum School Theater play that never was.

In the spring of 2020 we cast “Shakespeare in Love” and promptly left school for half a year. We tried to work it virtually, and even got close. But it wasn’t to be. Our community is so much the poorer for never having heard the turn of phrase that this incredible man put forth.

Tom Stoppard said “I don’t think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you might nudge the world a little or make a poem that children will speak for you when you are dead.”

All due respect, but the number of times that you got the right ones into the right order truly suggests that you might have been sacred. Maybe not as sacred as the words themselves, but sacred nonetheless.

We will be honored to look for the right one of your poems to speak for you.

RIP and here is hoping that every exit is, indeed, an entrance somewhere else.

👏 Congrats to Senior Billy Neumann! His photograph of the Salesianum stage was selected for the prestigious Drexel High School Photography Exhibit. Out of 2,500 entries, only 188 were chosen, and his work made the cut! You can see it this month at Drexel Westphal College of Media Arts & Design Gallery and online for the next year.
