It’s never just dance. 💙💛

Yes, they learn the steps.

They learn to point their toes, hear the counts, remember choreography and keep trying when something doesn’t come easily.

But somewhere along the way, they learn so much more.

They learn to be brave enough to try something new.
To make mistakes and try again.
To cheer for someone else.
To work together.
To laugh at themselves.
And sometimes… to lie upside down on the studio floor with a friend just because they can. 😂

Because between the classes, rehearsals, corrections and performances, something pretty special happens.

Friendships grow. Confidence grows. They grow. 💙

And those little moments in between? They may just end up being some of the ones they remember most.

Little hands in the air. New steps being learned. Teachers leading the way. New friendships beginning. And dancers discovering just how much fun it is to move, learn and grow together.

Our 2026–2027 Recreational Season begins September 14, and we can't wait!

The kind you’re just as happy to see outside the studio as you are inside it.

Because yes, we love watching our dancers grow in technique, confidence and performance—but we really love watching the friendships grow right along with them.

Backpacks packed. ✏️ First-day outfits on. 🍎 And just like that… a new school year begins! 💙💛

We loved seeing some of our EDC dancers heading back to school today! Whether they were excited, nervous, ready to see their friends—or already counting down to the weekend 😂—we hope all of our dancers had the BEST first day!

There’s something so special about this time of year: new teachers, new friends, new routines and a whole new year of growing ahead.

Here’s to an amazing school year for all of our EDC kids! We can’t wait to hear all about those first days. ✨

Maybe your little one has been asking to take dance. Maybe you’ve been meaning to look at classes all summer. Or maybe you’re brand new to the dance world and have absolutely no idea whether ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop — or a little bit of everything — is the right place to start.

That’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk through our doors.

Our Recreational Program is a place for dancers to learn, move, build confidence, make friends and discover what they love — whether it’s their very first dance class or they’re coming back for another year.
