A tale of many studios…

Each studio held a different version of me - different stage in life, different creative voice, a different artist.

This year marks 5 years in my custom backyard studio, something I’m incredibly grateful for. But it’s also fun to look back over the past 14 years and reminisce on where it all began.🎨🖼️👩🏼‍🎨☺️ For those that have been with me since the beginning, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.💖

The nostalgia was especially strong on this recent trip down to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. We reminisced, spent time with friends and family we hadn’t seen in a while, and revisited places filled with so many memories. A lot has changed since I first moved to Charleston in 2004, but there are still little pockets that feel like time has stood beautifully still. I’m always drawn to those places - they’re the ones that hold pieces of my past.💖
