Today 10am until 4pm I will have my studio open to the public. There are some wonderful new pots and A LOT of great deals just in time for Christmas. Come have some cider and bend my ear. My studio is at the end of the driveway in our garage. See you soon!

I love graffiti walls especially when they’ve been painted multiple time. I try to create that quality of layering in my new work. I want a combination of chaos and control, competing elements and depth of surface.

I’m so pleased to announce that I have been invited to be an artist in residence at Sturt, Australia’s pioneering design centre and school for contemporary craft. Situated south of Sydney in the Southern Highlands, Sturt educates students in a wide range of contemporary craft courses and workshops. I will be living on campus, teaching workshops and spending three months of concentrated time creating a new body of work. This residency is a dream come true. I am so excited to visit Australia and to work at such a storied and we’ll-regarded school. I will be there next Fall, or, I guess, Spring in Australia. 😃 Stay tuned for some exciting sales to help fund this opportunity and follow along with me as I make this journey.
