A Dickinson Favorite… Dave is a native of California and started playing the electronic organ at age 4. Moving to Arizona in 1976, he became the associate organist at the three locations of Organ Stop Pizza restaurants there, while continuing his classical organ studies at the University of Arizona. With his family, Dave moved to the Chicago area, then to Wisconsin and a brief stint in Las Vegas, where he fulfilled jobs as both a theatre organist and a church musician. Dave has also toured in Australia and New Zealand, and currently lives in Michigan, from where he concertizes extensively in the US.

Ian Fraser will be performing a free mini-concert at our Open House on September 16.

Ian is the 2023 first-place winner of the American Theatre Organ Society’s Young Theatre Organist Competition.

During our Open House Ian will accompany the silent film, "Number, Please?" starring Harold Lloyd, Mildred Davis, and Roy Brooks. The film is 23 minutes long and we cannot wait to see you there!

At 16, after seeing a silent film at Chaminade High School, Ian had the chance to sit at the organ console and play the theatre organ for the first time. From there, he has followed his passion to become a theatre organist.

Leveraging his ability to play by ear, Ian has taught himself in just a few short years to play the theatre organ. Ian is the house organist at the St. George Theatre in Staten Island playing pre-shows for their Classic Movie Series. He has also performed at Chaminade High School, the Bardavon Presents, and the Loew's Jersey Theatre.

For all our shows, lobby doors are open one hour prior. We have easy access, free parking. All seats unreserved – $20 for adults, $10 for under age 21 at the door on concert night, cash, cheque or credit card accepted. Please call 302-998-2803 if you have questions.

Please visit our website to download our 2023-2024 program with all the details for this season. We have selected an interesting variety of artists from across the U.S. and England and look forward to seeing you at our Open House, September 16. This is a free event, a unique time to experience the Kimball up close and also hear a rising young talent, Ian Fraser, who impressed everyone so much at last year’s Open House. We were so impressed we decided to bring him back this year for a mini-concert.
