"The Velveteen Rabbit" is an original dance adaptation of the classic children's book by Margery Williams. The show was created by Artistic Director, Ashley Barnes, and first premiered in 2011. The heartwarming production showcases dancers of all ages in incredible hand-made costumes. Innovative ballet and contemporary choreography is set to hauntingly beautiful music composed by George Winston.

Two performances at Thalian Hall in 2014 left audience members awestruck, claiming this show to be "One of the best things performed in Wilmington."
