Three roles. Three star turns. One unforgettable production. ✨

Jim Sohre of said it best: all you need to mount a successful production of Andrea Chénier is “the three best singers in the world” and OperaDelaware “really scored big with three star turns emanating from their enviable roster of Company Artists.”

⭐️ Tenor was “simply everything one could wish for” — “destined to become a tenor of choice in this demanding role assignment.”

⭐️ Soprano ’s “vibrant soprano soared into the stratosphere with thrilling ease.” Her “La mamma morta” was delivered with “utmost emotional honesty.” And you saw her in Wilmington??!

⭐️ .moon.baritone was “a force to be reckoned with as Gérard — his baritone threatening to peel the paint off , his ‘Nemico della patria’ so stirring it nearly stopped the show cold.”

Big news for OperaDelaware — and for Delaware.

This August, Eric Einhorn joins us as General Director. He comes from 11 years leading On Site Opera in New York, where he staged opera in museums, parks, and places nobody expected.

Now he's bringing that spirit to Wilmington.

In a recent interview with A Tempo with Rachel Katz (WWFM - The Classical Network), Eric shared what drew him here: our pop-up opera program, our Company Artist model, and a community he believes is ready to grow with us.

His words: "There is just limitless potential here."
