1 ruptured plantar tendon
3 weeks in a cast
1 missed Plein air festival
0 days painting outdoors, or in the studio
7 1/2 books read so far
8 plants potted or planted with the help of my daughter
5 hummingbird sightings
6 Brown Thrasher sightings
6 oz gained back by our diabetic cat who is responding well to his diabetes meds
Numerous YouTube videos watched in anticipation of upcoming trip to New England
1 new Boot

Today, the cast came off and I got to let my foot breathe for a bit before going into my Boot. Another week in it then a slow introduction to wearing shoes for a couple of hours at a time.

This is going to take some time people.

On the upside the weather has been amazing and I’ve been practically living on our back porch enjoying the garden coming back to life, watching the birds dip in and out, and of course reading, reading, reading.

Plein air painting is taking a backseat until later this month.
Sigh.
Not a break, but a ruptured plantar tendon.
No pain while in the cast but mobility, needless to say, is a little challenging and I’m not allowed to walk in the sand.
Poor me. Poor, poor, pitiful me.

Painting has begun for the Azalea Festival! Final wet paint sale on Sunday, 10-5 at garden tour number 7A in the Autumn Hall neighborhood on 5209 Old Garden Rd.

The sale is included with your garden tour ticket, or $5 cash admission on the day of the sale.
A portion of sales goes to the Charitable Grants Program of the Cape Fear Garden Club.

Very honored to have been invited to participate with 19 other artists.
There will be lots of fresh art for sale including this one!
