So this week was huge. Two of the biggest events of the year for us in one weekend. While it wasn't an easy weekend, it certainly was.one of the most rewarding. I had the opportunity to work with some amazing vendors as well as some of the best clients ever! This was the first of the events this weekend. An amazing guy planned an amazing party and gathering a true A-List of vendors to pull it off, had a stellar 60th birthday party that he labeled Studio 54 + 6....

Boat Regatta!

After a very long, very busy weekend I'm spending the day spinning some tunes for the folks at Porters Neck Country Club on this BEAUTIFUL Labor Day! Of all of the activities we have done so far today, this one has been the most fun. They made their own boats out of cardboard and covered everywhere except the bottom with duct tape. Man....these guys came to party! From the first time I had the opportunity to chat with Samantha she was just a ball of energy full of happiness just ITCHING to get out! So whattaya do when both of you are HUGE concert fans and the whole world has been deprived of concerts for over a year....you bring the concert to the wedding! Rock and Dawn are amazing people. They are soooooo fun. When you meet them, you know that their wedding can't be just an average run of the mill wedding. Dawn knew how much Rock had missed being able to attend concerts so she set out to bring the concert to him. It started with a tailgate party in front of the house complete with concert t-shirts announcing their special day. It continued to the back yard where there was a full on stage ready to rock and roll! A three piece band to play as guests arrived, gospel singers to sing a surprise rendition of "Respect" by Aretha Franklin during the ceremony. A Van Halen Tribute band, a Rod Stewart impersonator, a Mick Jagger impersonator, a Gene Simmons impersonator, a DJ to play between sets and a photo booth to get all of the fun guests to commemorate the day! The food....wow, the food. Coney Island style fair food, Thyme Savor really out did themselves with their creations. Are you starting to get the picture? When you are marrying the one you love, there are no lengths to which you will not go to make them happy. By the way, Rock had NO IDEA about ANY of this before the day of the wedding. Hats off to this AMAZING bride and groom! Thanks so much for letting us be part of your unparallelled celebration!
