Owner and stained glass instructor, John Schum, has over 30 years experience in working with stained glass. He is known for his window and lamp restorations and beautiful commissioned pieces that he has created. John is also president of the Wilmington Community Arts Collaborative .

Thought you'd enjoy seeing what is happening at the shop these days. John has begun to repair the Beveled Glass Panel of a beautiful solid mahogany door.
Note: Pics captured don't tell the whole story of the repair thus far because, as you probably know, John doesn't usually take pictures of what he is working on. And I was busy spring cleaning the front of the shop!

Hello All! It has been a few weeks since we have posted.

We have been busy, okay, John has been busy! He has been commissioned to make birth month flowers. He is using the fused glass method. Each framed piece is 11" x 14". Check out the photo.

Also, with encouragement from my daughter, I have signed the South Street Gallery up for Game of Shrooms in June. It is a one day free Art Scavenger hunt. More information will be provided in the future. For now we have been busy making mushrooms 🍄.
