Good afternoon, I just purchased a machine and plan on restoring it. Step 1, IMO, is to find out which model and year it is, but I am having trouble finding it.
I was wondering if someone here knows anything about this Heiwa machine. ANY help would be appreciated.
Just a small piece of history. This photo is a Pachinko Palace/Parlor in Japan circa 1973. It was my junior of high school and we were stationed at Camp Zama. This was taken near the Sagamihara housing area where we lived. A popular activity to this day. I personally have a 1974 built machine.
Might I offer a glimpse of history. I was a junior in high school and living in Japan at the Sagamihara Housing Area which is near Camp Zama. My dad was military (Army). Here is a photo I took of a Pachinko Palace. I recently acquired a vintage 1974 Pachinko machine. Oh, the time period is 1972-1973 when we were stationed there. The Japanese love this game to this day.
