Places!
Thank you Places!
No, really. THANK YOU PLACES!!
This is the call from the stage manager that means, "Get in your place, the show is starting!"
It is exhilarating, terrifying, thrilling, and full of hope. It means everyone is ready to play their part in telling a story and bringing a beautiful work of art to life. Actors, crew, technicians, musicians, all at the ready to show the culmination of all of their hard work and creativity...and to have fun!
We are so very grateful that we have managed, with the support of our school and CFA families, to be able to make it to PLACES.
This incredible group of people have made history again at CFA. We are still making art happen amidst a pandemic! These students have all shown the determination, patience, resilience, grace, innovation, and talent to make it possible.
They continue to be more extraordinary than the extraordinary circumstance put before them.
And thank you Ellen Kanzinger, CFA alum '14 and photographer extraordinaire, for this awesome photo!
*In the interest of health and safety, students were double masked for rehearsals and performances. Safety protocols followed throughout the process; in rehearsals, on stage and backstage (for actors and crew), and in the entire Fine Arts Center. Full number of participants met indoor capacity designated by Governor Cooper. Cast photo staged in double masks and posed without any singing, movement, or speaking.
