We’re closing our doors, but not before giving Betty Brown’s work the send-off it deserves. 🎨 This final week, Betty is offering a special discount on her pieces — a beautiful chance to bring home something that will last long after we’re gone.

Come see us before we close. You won’t regret it!

After 40 remarkable years, New Elements Gallery will close its doors on June 1, 2026.

This is not a goodbye spoken with sadness — it is one offered with deep gratitude and a full heart. For four decades, this gallery has been a gathering place for artists, collectors, and curious minds. It has been a space where creativity was celebrated, where conversations sparked, and where art found its way into homes, workplaces, and lives across our community.

When I took on the stewardship of New Elements Gallery 11 years ago, I inherited something rare — a business with soul. Every artist we represented, every opening we hosted, every visitor who walked through our doors added a new layer to that legacy. I am profoundly honored to have been its caretaker. The decision to close has not been made lightly. It comes from an honest place of reflection — a recognition that my own path is evolving. My passion has turned toward the world of wellness, and I am excited to follow that calling with the same dedication and love I brought to this gallery. I look forward to sharing more about that journey in the months ahead.

Between now and June 1, we invite you to come in one last time during our usual hours— to browse, to reminisce, to bring a friend who has never visited, and to take home a piece of the story.

To our artists, our collectors, our neighbors, and everyone who has ever paused in front of a piece of art on these walls and felt something — thank you. You are the reason this place has mattered for 40 years. That will never change.

With gratitude and great excitement for what comes next,

Miriam Oehrlein

Sublime Design Friday ✨
We got to have some fun today! Our client’s request: lots of color — and we think we nailed it. The architecture of this home was made to display art, and the design is just as unique as the pieces that fill it.

Texture takes center stage! Across painting, ceramics, copper relief, and collage, each surface holds its own language—built through layering, carving, assembling, and reworking material. These works invite a closer look, where texture becomes as expressive and variable as color or subject.
