Performed beautifully by our Sydney.

This was Sydney’s very first competition season with Delaware Center for Dance, and from the moment she stepped on stage, we knew she was something special. Her maturity as a dancer, her artistry, and the way she connects so effortlessly to the music are truly beyond her years.

At Nationals, Sydney was also returning from a broken finger and worked incredibly hard to get back on track. Despite the setback, she took the stage with grace, resilience, and heart, delivering a performance we’ll never forget.

Sydney, we are so proud of you. Thank you for trusting us with your journey. Watching you grow has been such a gift, and we are so lucky to have you as part of the DCFD family. Your future is so bright, and we can’t wait to see where your passion takes you next. 🤍

BEGINNER HEELS IS BACK! 🔥

Join Miss Cara on Wednesday, August 19th from 7:00–9:30 PM for a beginner-friendly heels class!

Whether you’ve never danced in heels before or you’re looking to build confidence and technique, this class is for you. You are welcome to wear heels or shoes of your choice, the goal is simply to get in the room and learn.

Miss Cara doesn’t just teach choreography, she focuses on the foundations, technique, confidence, and movement that make heels dance so empowering.

No experience required.
Supportive environment.
All confidence levels welcome.

Our August Schedule is Here! ✨

As we wrap up an incredible summer, we’re taking a little time to rest, reset, and prepare for an exciting new season at DCFD. 💛

But don’t worry, we’re still moving! The second half of August is full of opportunities to move with us.

In addition to all of the other classes, we’re excited to continue our FREE Adult Stretch in the Park and, by popular demand, we’ve added a FREE Youth Stretch in the Park class so our younger people can experience the same benefits of mobility, flexibility, and intentional movement! All experience levels, girls and boys, just come stretch!

Nationals 2026, what a week it was.

This year was nothing short of amazing. Beyond the awards, the performances, and the memories, what we’ll cherish most are the moments in between: the laughs, the late nights, the cheering each other on, and the love that filled every room we walked into.

Kicking off our DECA Nationals recap with our very own Allie! 💛

We’re beyond proud to celebrate Allie on earning her very first National Title in the Advanced Division! 🏆 Through her solo performance, improvisation, and interview, she showcased not only her talent but also her confidence, hard work, and growth throughout this season.

Stepping into the Advanced Division is no small accomplishment, and to come away with a title makes this moment even more special.

Congratulations, Allie! We are so incredibly proud of you. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next.
