Asking for prayers. My love to everyone who reads this. Let's pray for each other today because prayers are needed right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour, to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of my family and friends just for moral support.

Join us in celebrating African-American heritage and culture at the Wilmington Kwanzaa Celebration, presented by Burnett Eaton Museum Foundation & Community!

📅 Tuesday, December 26th to Monday, January 1st
📍 Location: St. Marks' Jackson Hall, 600 Grace Street
🕡 Time: 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM each evening

Each night, a different principal of Kwanzaa will be honored through a variety of exciting events—speakers, vendor markets, music, and even a fashion show! Everyone is invited to experience the rich traditions and vibrant community spirit as we explore the seven core principles that shape this meaningful celebration.

The City of Wilmington, NC Government will be in attendance, seeking community input on the Greater Downtown Special Area Plan. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to have your say and shape the future of our community! They will also be gathering data for the expansion of the African American Heritage map. Share your stories, landmarks, and historical points of interest that highlight our rich African-American heritage!

🌟 Let's come together to celebrate, learn, and grow as a community. Happy Kwanzaa!
