Morning Stretch

I combined a couple of reference photos from my husbands photography portfolio to create this image. It's acrylic paint on watercolor paper. I live 4 miles from Topsail Island and am constantly inspired by the local wildlife and seascape here.

April on Front Street

I don't remember exactly who this was or what the moment was about, just that it felt like Wilmington in April, maybe around 1993. The details came from a few old photos and whatever memory I recalled to fill in the gaps. Sharpie with watered acrylics with alcohol pen, kept loose and unpolished on purpose cus I'll probably never finish it.
