Play It Forward Wilmington is excited to announce that we’ve added an extra room at our office!
We’re now offering hourly rentals for:
-Band rehearsals
-Lessons
-Open jams
-Recording
-Solo practice sessions
-and much more!!!
We’ll also be hosting classes, events, and themed group jam sessions

* Hourly Space Rentals
(Band rehearsals, open jams, classes/events & Recording)
Evenings and hours when Otto’s Drums is closed
Rates and times
All times include setup and breakdown.
$20 - 1 hour
$30 — 2 hours
$40 — 3 hours
+ $10 for each additional hour
$100 — Full day (Sunday & Monday only)
Recording Note:
You are responsible for bringing your own recording equipment and setup time.
Please message us for details about the space layout, or if you have any questions.
*Rates could change if using the space and charging others an admission for your services.

Fully set-up drum kit, PA system with 4 mics & stands, Amps: 2 guitar amps + 1 bass amp. Just bring your heads, guitars, and any personal gear you need.
You’re welcome to swap or use your own equipment—just please return everything to its original setup for the next group.

-$15/hour - For lessons that you are charging others for
-No charge - if you are volunteering your time and giving lessons for free
-$10/hour for private practice/tightening up your playing. We can allow up to 2 people for this if playing at low volume.

* Are you interested in a monthly membership?
Membership: $120/month
Your membership includes:
🎸 Access & Use
-Anytime daytime access between 9:00am-6:00pm for lessons and private practice for up to 3 hours per session and based on availability.
-Evening band rehearsals or open jams:
Limited to 2 nights per week when booking in advance and up to 3 hours per session. You can also have access to the space in the evenings on the day of if you see a time slot open on the calendar.
Available hours are Sunday and Monday 9:00am-11:00pm and Tuesday-Saturday 6:00pm-11:00pm
👤 Membership Details
The $120 monthly fee covers one person, but you are responsible for anyone in your group
Memberships may be canceled at any time if issues arise with group behavior or space use

At Play It Forward Wilmington, our main mission is to give others the opportunity to experience the joy of playing music. We’ve proudly done that by providing instruments to those who want to learn — and now, we’re excited to also provide a place for them to come play.
We do plan to host free events, classes, and open jams, and offer free lessons through volunteer teachers whenever possible. Our goal is to create more opportunities for connection, creativity, and growth through music.
All donations and rental income go directly back into supporting our mission. These funds help us purchase instruments, parts, and accessories, keep the lights on at our office, and continue providing a fun, safe, and creative space for our community.
If you’re using our space, we simply ask that you respect the rules and help keep the office clean and welcoming for everyone.
