R & B Dance Center Dance instruction and Performing Art Education The R & B Dance Center mission is to create not only outstanding dancers, but outstanding young women and men.

We create a space where our dancers feel welcome and are able to feel challenged to achieve their goals in a safe, friendly, and encouraging atmosphere. R & B Dance Center strives to bring the passion and joy for dance to our students in a unique, family-oriented atmosphere. Our highly qualified professional dance instructors, most of whom perform with Chicago area dance companies, work with stude

nts of all ages and abilities to develop each student’s individual talents. To showcase our dancers’ accomplishments, they are invited to perform in our annual show, which is a professionally produced musical production. Featuring two large, recently renovated, studio spaces, R & B Dance Center offers dance classes at a variety of levels, and individual (private) instruction for ages 3 – adult in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, musical theatre, acro/tumbling and creative movement. In addition, we have three competitive dance companies for ages 7-18, who also perform for a variety of community events. In order to find the right placement for your dancer, you are always welcome to try a class free of charge.

Our Premiere and Elite teams closed out our regional season on the highest note and we couldn’t be more proud🫶🏼 This season has been full of growth, dedication, and resilience! We’re excited to get back in the studio with these teams and keep building as we head into nationals…..because we’re not done yet! ⭐️

WOW!!! What a weekend! Watching our dancers take the stage and pour their hearts into every moment left us completely amazed! The growth, the passion, the confidence! It all showed and we couldn’t be prouder. Every single dancer did an incredible job and should feel so proud of themselves! ⭐️🫶🏼
