Round 6 of the Lonestar Flattrack Patriot Series at the Leon County Expo Center “Dash for Cash”. What’s cool about this photo is there are 3 different types of bikes that competed in the first Dash for Cash of the season.
We took the top 4 riders of the Pro-Am class (10 riders) to make up the Dash. Vintage 2 stroke Astro, modern dtx and a mad dog bike… Tag em if you know em 🏁

What a great event today for round 6 of the Lonestar Flattrack Patriot Series
at the Leon County Expo Center.

Big shoutout to Andy Robinson and company for stepping in and taking the reins heading full steam ahead for this great association and series.

After Ken and Carolyn quit mid season to pursue the opening of their personal business taking half the staff with them, luckily, Andy took control of the series instead of letting it fold and all of us sitting at home with our tallywhackers in our hands wishing we had a place to race.
We all know how well Ken and Carolyn Laubhan Loewrigkeit ran the series and that is no easy task to replicate. If today is any testament with all the new riders and fans in attendance, I look forward to the remainder of the season!

Thanks again Andy, Jessie Melton-Robinson, Harvey Mushman, volunteers and anyone else I’m missing. People don’t realize the amount of time that goes in behind the scenes putting on these races.

Great Job!!!!

Turned out to be a beautiful day after a rainy morning and track is great…

Prayers for fellow rider Pat Hogan. He got tangled up with another rider and went down hard in practice with a possible broken/dislocated leg below the right knee and had to take the dreaded meat wagon ride.

In typical “Crocodile” fashion while he was laying on the track with his lower leg pointing the opposite direction, the first thing out of his mouth was “hopefully I won’t be out long”. 😣

Everyone say a prayer for a speedy recovery and I would like to start a fund for a new pair of boots that Pat just got, because I’m sure they are going to have to cut-off at the hospital. Speedy recovery Pat 🤙

It really sux to put in so much time prepping the track only to get rained out last minute. Sorry guys….. 😞

We will try again possibly this week depending on what the weather
does. I even got stuck on the mower today so I would have been pulling people out with the tractor for sure.

To the new followers we look forward to having you out to ride and enjoy the ranch 👍 🏁

***Attention in the Pits***

Unfortunately we got a stray shower today that blew in, dumped a lot of water then left and f*cked everything up, kinda like one of Sean Clark ‘s wild stripper girls. 😂

None the less practices are cancelled for Saturday June 13th. I think the MX track would be okay but parking is under water, and the flattrack is so soft I sink down a couple inches just walking on it much less get a tractor on it.

If we don’t get anymore rain Sunday might be a possibility, but then again Sunday is showing 70% of rain 😡

Sorry guys I really hate cancelling especially after spending the last two days prepping the tracks.
