Y’all, we are fired up to share a milestone that is as big as Texas itself. MaryEllen Miller, CSEP, CTEP, has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Sparks Agency, effective January 1, 2026. In her new role, MaryEllen will continue leading our planning and innovation efforts, all while strengthening our unwavering commitment to excellence, creativity, and a whole lot of fun across every corner of the business. If you know MaryEllen (and that’s just about everyone in Texas entertainment), you know she’s been the heartbeat of The Sparks Agency for 18 amazing years, most recently serving as COO. She helped build us into a Destination Entertainment Company defined by one-of-a-kind Texas and Southwestern-themed events that bring people together with laughter, energy, and a true sense of place. Beyond our walls, MaryEllen has shared her gifts with the wider events community, serving as Board President of both the Society of Talent and Entertainment Professionals (STEP) and the Texas Association of Convention, Operations, and Events & Meeting Managers. She’s not just a visionary – she’s a true TEXpert, through and through. Under her leadership, we’ve seen remarkable growth, boundless creativity, and plenty of that signature quirky Sparks magic.
