Week Two of Summer Vacation:

We picked up two handsome fellas Sunday that will make a great addition to the zoo. We love their personalities so much already. 🦙🦙

We finished painting the second door of the conex black. We completed the new paddock for Sugar and Goaty and the sheep, including putting Typar and sand down. We’re hoping this will help keep them out of so much mud during breakup next year. We will still need to complete the barn so they can stay out during the winter months.🐴🐐🐑🐏We repatched the pond and refilled it. Fingers crossed this will be the last time patching is needed. 🤞It appears that Otis was the culprit. He evidently punctured several holes in the pond during his little foray a couple of weeks ago. He and Dixie sure keep us on our toes! 🐕🦮 Bethany is hard at work designing the new rabbit enclosure and Kylee returned to work yesterday. 🐰We’re hoping to get much more completed this week with all hands on deck.

And…we welcomed six sweet baby goats! We all know you gotta love on them while they’re young because it doesn’t take long for them to start bouncing around and partaking in all the goat shenanigans they are so well known for!🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

We’re looking forward to another productive week and being that much closer to having the zoo opened. We’re shooting for the 4th of July! We look forward to celebrating our country’s 250th birthday with you! 🧨🇺🇸🎈🎉
