📣 POM WORKSHOP WITH LEXIE HOINSKI 📣

Take your pom skills to the next level with FAA Alumn Lexie Hoinski as part of the Fine Arts Association's 2026 Summer Intensive! ✨📣💃

Lexie is a member of the nationally competitive Miami University Dance Team, one of the top collegiate dance programs in the country. The team competes annually at NDA Nationals in Division 1A Pom and Jazz and has consistently ranked among the nation's elite programs. In addition to competing nationally, team members perform at Miami University football and basketball games while serving as ambassadors for school spirit and excellence.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for dancers interested in pom, collegiate dance team training, performance quality, precision, and the skills needed to succeed at the next level.

Look what our Beginning Sewing Camp students created! 🧵✨

These talented kiddos chose their own fabrics, cut out their patterns, sewed the pockets, added hems, and created a ribbon channel to make their aprons adjustable. We are so proud of their focus, creativity, and hard work!

There is something extra special about seeing students learn a new skill and walk away with something they made themselves. Great job, sewists and FAA Instructor Adriel Meyer 👏

🌟 CONTEMPORARY WORKSHOP WITH GRACE WHITWORTH 🌟

The Fine Arts Association is thrilled to welcome FAA alum Grace Whitworth back home for an incredible Contemporary Workshop as part of our 2026 Summer Intensive! 💃✨

Grace began her dance journey right here at FAA, where she received the Outstanding Senior Award and scholarship to attend the conservatory of her choice. She went on to earn a BA in Ballet and Jazz Studies from Point Park University before continuing her professional training at Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago, home of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.

Grace currently serves as a Rehearsal Director, Dancer, Stager, and Teacher for YYDC in New York City. Throughout her career, she has toured internationally to China, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and Serbia and has helped stage Yue Yin’s choreography at universities and professional companies across the country.

She is also one of only TWO master teachers certified to teach FoCo Technique™ created by Yue Yin.
This is an incredible opportunity for dancers to learn from a nationally and internationally recognized contemporary artist with roots right here at FAA.
