Little Art Gallery Guidelines:
Keep the art family friendly! While we don’t like to censor art, we’d like to keep the LAG as easy viewing for people of all ages and backgrounds. Please refrain from making art that has:
Nudity, violence/foul language, anything involving hate towards others. You are very welcome to make things that make you feel:
Happy, Sad, angry, optimistic, disgusted, etc. There will be a new theme announced each month month to help get the creative juices flowing. Art can be no taller than 6 inches and may not exceed width of 6 inches. Art classes will be hosted once a month with different materials for artists of all kinds to make a piece for that month’s theme. If you are dropping off or mailing in art please make sure it arrives in the last week of the month. Please include your full name and a way to contact you if you’d like your art back. Art can be picked up any time after it’s theme month from the Willmar Community Center. We thank the following that have supported and helped make this project possible:
- Willmar Community Center Woodshop Volunteers
- Perkins Lumber of Willmar
- Vision 2040
- Ridgewater College
- Willmar Parks & Recreation
- Willmar Public Library
- Bethesda Willmar
- DREAM Academy
